The Dark Knight (2008)
“You’ve changed things… Forever. There is no going back.” With this and Batman Begins, Christopher Nolan has changed the Superhero genre forever. After leaving “Batman Begins” with a cliffhanger foreshadowing the rise of The Joker, Christopher Nolan was tasked to live up to fans and movie goers expectations. “The Dark Knight” was one of the most anticipated films of 2008, and it lives up to its own hype. Christopher Nolan returns as the director and teams up with his brother Jonathan Nolan to write the screenplay. With an all-star cast in his control, Nolan has raised the bar for a superhero genre film.
